Use https://app.servicekudos.com to start application
To start the ServiceKudos application, use the full Web link https://app.servicekudos.com with prefix 'https://' via any browser from any systems. Without the prefix 'https://', some browsers may do a text search for 'app.servicekudos.com' instead than actually run the application, therefore may end up with negative search result. Or you can run the application from this Web site by clicking on the 'Login/Sign-up' link. Once successfully running the ServiceKudos applicaton with full Web link, a browser may know later to start the application when you just type 'app.servicekudos.com' without the prefix 'https://'. Or better, you can install the application without typing to run the application.
After first login
Please create Business Profile for your business. The provided Business Profile information will be used in communicating with your customers by ServiceKudos on the behalf of your business. Some critical information such as E-Mail must exist to allow your customers receive trustworthy E-Mail notifications from your business for service events such as service activity changes, service activity reminders, invoice delivery... The provided E-Mail can be a different E-Mail that you use for your ServiceKudos account.
Jump-start trying ServiceKudos with Sample Content
You are prompted to create sample cotent automaticaly upon trying ServiceKudos. With sample content created, you can immediately see how ServiceKudos helps to execute various 'Client First' services business and how clients can easily interact with your service business at their fingertips. With just a few minutes you will be able to understand how to use ServiceKudos to fit your own services business and start to setup ServiceKudos with sample content as references.
ServiceKudos Provider account vs Client account
Service providers create Provider account by sign up ServiceKudos 7-day free trial service with an E-Mail. The Provider account will be closed and removed from ServiceKudos services at end of the free trial if the Provider account is not continuted with monthly ServiceKudos subscripton service.
Client account is the account used by clients to interact with any ServiceKudos service provider. The Client account can be created by using existing Google/Facebook/Twitter account information to sign in ServiceKudos services or by sign up ServiceKudos services via an E-Mail.
A Provider account is also able to act as a Client account. For example, a ServiceKudos provider is also a client of other ServiceKudos providers. But a Client account can not act as Provider account. So service providers interested in using ServiceKudos services to execute services business should always sign up ServiceKudos Provider account only. With the Provider account, a service provider can also use it, the same E-Mail, as Client account to play being also a client of the provider itself. This combines with the Sample Content helps easily try out ServiceKudos services being both a service provider and a client of the service provider.

Setup your own ServiceKudos services
ServiceKudos provider services are versatile and flexible with growing capabilities over time to interact with clients, team members, partners and to execute services business.You can setup ServiceKudos services to fit your own services business by configuration and rollout future services per your business roadmap. After login Provider account, from the main menu ServiceKudos Account/My Account/Feature tab, you can see a list of ServiceKudos services capabilities available to you to enable/disable per your services business requirements.
ServiceKudos application is also installable
ServiceKudos application can run with any Web browser ready devices via https://app.servicekudos.com Web link including and not limited to iPhone, Android phones, Mac system, Windows system, iPad, Android Pad... Not only ServiceKudso application is very accessible but also it is installable to a device. For example with iPhone, ServiceKudos application can be installed via Safari browser 'Add to Home Screen' button. Once it is installed, the ServiceKudos application can be launcherd directly without the ServiceKudos Web link.
ServiceKudos application upgrades automatically
ServiceKudos application will upgrade version itself automatically once it detects a newer ServiceKudos application is available. You can also start the version upgrade explicitly by refreshing ServceKudos Web link and/or remove the installed ServiceKudos application and reinstall again. ServiceKudos application version information is accessible from the main menu for both Provider account and Client account.
ServiceKudos application requires Internet connection
ServiceKudos application requires Internet connection to interact with the ServiceKudos backbone systems world wide.
Opt in security with Two Factor Authentication
Security is important. In addition to E-Mail/password authentication, you can enable additional authentication via Two Factor Authentication from Account Settings/Account Profile. This requires Google Authenticator installation from Android/Apple app store. With Google Authenticator installed and Two Factor Authentication enabled, the login process will use both E-Mail/password authentication and Google Authenticator code authentication.
Start subscription during or after free trial
You can start ServiceKudos subscription service from ServiceKudos Account/My Account/Profile tab by clicking the 'Start Subscription' button. ServiceKudos uses PayPal to manage all billing and payment activities so you can trust and track easily via PayPal.
Stop subscription with active subscription
You can stop ServiceKudos subscription service from ServiceKudos Account/My Account/Profile tab by clicking the 'Stop Subscription' button. Your ServiceKudos service will be stopped automatically at the end of the current billing cycle.
Provider account data cleanup
3 days after your account is closed, either due to free trial ended or discontinued subscription, all your data created via ServiceKudos will be completely removed from ServiceKudos automatically. To continue using the existing data at ServiceKudos, you must continue ServiceKudos subscription before the account cleanup is executed. You can continue ServiceKudos subscription service without interruption from ServiceKudos Account/My Account/Profile tab by clicking the 'Start Subscription' button. ServiceKudos uses PayPal to manage all billing and payment activities so you can trust and track easily via PayPal.
Provider Account Profile
The ServiceKudos Account/My Account/Profile tab has the account status information, subscription information (via PayPal) and the account credential information you can also update. Your account status can be one of the following.
- Trial. The account is in 'Trial' state after sign up the ServiceKudos account.
- Trial Ended. The account reached the end of the 'Trial' period without active subscription and is subjective to account data cleanup soon.
- Active. The account is active and has active PayPal subscription.
- Stop Pending. The account is active until the end of the current PayPal subscription billing cycle.
- Stop. The account is stopped after being reached at the end of the current PayPal subscription billing cycle without continuous subscription. The account is subjective to account data cleanup soon.
iPhone, iPad, Mac systems setup
Some ServiceKudos functions depend on the system setup by iPhone, iPad and Mac systems to work properly.
- Change Safari to enable 'Locaton' service to allow ServiceKudos 'Map' function to work properly.
- iOS starts to support 'Push Notification' from iOS 16.4. Please upgrade your iOS 16.4 so the ServiceKudos application is able to receive notification messages. Once your iOS systtem is upraded, 1. Open up the ServceKudos application and install ServiceKudos applcation via the 'Add to Home Screen' button. 2. If you are using Safari browser, go to Settings/Safari/Advanced/Experimental Features/Notifications to enble the 'Push Notification' feature. With 'Push Notification' feature enabled, your iOS system will be able to receive notification messages on the behalf of your business updates serviced by ServiceKudos.
Multiple items in the same time slot with Calendar view
With a Calendar view such as creating appointments for online appointment, or reservation center catalog..., you can click on a time slot to create an available item. But if the same time slot needs to have mutiple items, there are 2 ways to achieve the same result.
- Click on the 'Day Header' such as 'Mo', 'Tu'..., and give the 'Start Time" and 'Duartion in Minutes' to create a desirable item. If the combination of the 'Start Time' and 'Duartion in Minutes' match an existing item(s), multiple items will co-exist in the same time slot.
- Click on the existing time slot item, click on 'Copy' and update it with with different category but keep the same 'Start Time' and 'Duration in Minutes'. A new item will co-exist with the existing item in the same time slot.
View documents with different languages with iPhones
Documents such as .pdf, .docx, .pptx and .xlsx files can be viewed within ServiceKudos directly and can also be translated to a different language via Google Translate directly from ServiceKudos. .
- For iPhone users want to get/view the translated document, here are the steps to avoid confusions when click on the 'Translate' button from ServiceKudos dialog window while viewing the document. The document will need to be downloaded and saved to iPhone locally first by click on the 'Share' button from the iPhone dialog window. Once the document is saved locally, click on the 'Done' button from the iPhone dialog window. Now the document can be uploaded to Google Translate for translationfrom ServiceKudos dialog window.
- For non-iPhone users, the document to be downloaded and saved to a local device is transparent without the 'Share' and 'Done' buttons by the iPhone dialog window.
